Dinosaur Studio

Tattoo Studio & Art Gallery

Mark Hoffmann

β€œAn artist from birth!”, exclaimed his mother one of his biggest inspirations as an arrtist, who in 1969 graduated from U of I Chicago with a BA in Fine Arts. My entire life I loved drawing and trying different types of art mediums. At a very young age I fell in love with realism and watercolors. During college; at an outside art club I had a wonderful opportunity to learn from a renowned artist and work under him learning a new vibrant exciting style of art. When I graduated from American Academy of Art in Chicago in the winter of 2004, I wanted to use my art degree. I continued to learn from the renowned artist after college and ended up starting tattooing January 2006 in a small shop in far Northern town in Illinois. Fast forward a bit I met my wife, we moved to many states and places before settling back in Chicagoland by our families and hometowns. After encouragement from numerous bosses in some of the top art cities around the country and my beautiful bride, I decided to open my own Studio. Dinosaur Studio Tattoo, opened in early 2011, in downtown Waukegan Arts District, off beautiful Lake Michigan. Thanks to my family, friends, repeat clients and their families, clients, and future clients for over a decade creating wearable art for you!
